ASHLEE K. THOMAS

. Ashlee Thomas is the co-founder of MUCE, the Miami Urban Contemporary Experience, an arts production company that brings brands and ideas to life with art. She is a graduate of New World School of the Arts, Florida State Univ. School of Business and holds a Masters in Public Admin from FIU. She is currently a student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Graduate Musical Theater Writing program.

A Miami native, Ashlee has had the privilege to take her alchemist journey. She took a 6 year sojourn to Los Angeles (after graduation from Florida. State University) where she danced professionally with Los Angeles based company, CONTRA-TIEMPO Activist Dance Theater. Independently, she created full length choreographic works workshopped at Disney Concert Hall and premiered at the prestigious Highway Theater in California.  She has written and produced 3 original plays, 3 kid shows and served as a lead choreographer in Latin-grammy nominated music video, Licenciado Cantinas ft. Enrique Burnbury. She also served as co-founder and festival director of Melbourne Webfest, Australia's first web-series festival.  In 2014, she returned to Miami and developed her career in arts administration and education.

After the Pandemic of 2020, Ashlee decided it was time to pick up her pen again and write. She is excited to share her gifts as a playwright, bookwriter, librettist, and author with the world.
